Obituary for Victor Gonda (Guest book)

My condolences to the Gonda family. It is with heartfelt sympathy that I say I'm very sorry for your loss. My best friend Vic Gonda (Son of Vic and Carole) and I spent our childhood riding bikes and driving cars past his grandma and grandpas' house. Most often, we would stop to say hi or just get some cookies from grandma! Mr. Gonda had a aura about him that was very stately and welcoming. He always let us use his garage for repairing bikes or snowmobiles. I actually started a snowmobile on fire in his garage! I think I was 16 and it was 1986...I don't think we told him of this incident? As typical Gonda family goes, they forgive and forget.

A great man and a person that I knew Vic admired and respected. I feel blessed to have met him and I wouldn't have a friend like Vic if it wasn't for him. The Gonda family has lost a great person but has gained a lifetime of memories and wisdom that will never be forgotten. God Bless everyone.

My condolences to the Gonda family. A very tight family that had the luxury of living so close to the granparents. My childhood was spent go back and forth to Vic's parents house.
